Kids in the City Market

There's a brand-new market in town, and it's all about the fun for the whole family! Welcome to Kids in the City – where kids can play, parents can shop, and the whole family can dine in style!

On March 9th we held our very first Kids in the City market in Christchurch! The market took place at The Welder and featured more than 30 stallholders, delicious food and dessert trucks, face painting, and SO much more.

Entertainment for the whole family ensued with over 500+ attendees. The event was pram-friendly, dog-friendly, ticketless (just a donation upon entry), with ample street-side parking (and paid parking lots available). Restaurants inside The Welder was also open, along with food trucks outside and bouncy castles inside as well as a soft playground.

Moana, Spiderman and Elsa surprised the kids and the market was a successfully RAD event with smiles all around!
