About Rad

Our story.

After losing her father in 2023, Kate founded the agency as a tribute to his memory and family name. With over 8 years of experience in event planning and 10 years of managing teams she is passionate about people and everything related to business and events.

Kate plans events which are inclusive, sustainably-focused and profitable. Her goal is to make sure that the project you are working on, is not only successful but also leaves a positive impact on the community.

Our passionate environmental scientist lives and breathes sustainability. With her scientific expertise, Millie applies a rigorous set of criteria to ensure every step of the wedding/event planning journey is carbon responsible.

Our team

Kate Radcliffe-Reid – Event Manager + CEO
Millie Taylor – Environmental Scientist

With eight years in the wedding + event industry, Kate has helped couples, clients and friends bring their visions to life. Alongside her work in events, Kate has a passion for marketing, managing communities and partnerships. After a difficult year losing her father in 2023, of whom Rad is named after, Kate enjoys time with her two young sons and an energising social life.

Millie is an experienced environmental scientist with anti-greenwashing tattooed across her forehead - okay not literally, but Millie’s goal is to ensure all businesses celebrate the sustainable work they are doing while ensuring their claims are accurate. Millie enjoys professional development, trips to Ireland, hanging with her cat Lola and painting, completing a mural wall in her office space.

Alice Nixon – Design + Ethical Social Media Marketer

Alice joined the team in 2023 during a period of growth for RAD.

She brings a wealth of graphic design, marketing and administration knowledge.

Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals that RAD consider during our business operations are listed below.

What they think

We have a great range of clients, from busy PAs who have had 'workplace events' tacked on to their job description, to brides, grooms, and leaders of non-profits making headway in innovative spaces.
"Working for RAD has been an awesome experience that has helped me develop my understanding of events. The RAD workplace environment is very inviting and friendly making work very enjoyable."
Luke Rathgen
Event Co-ordinator at RAD
Working with RAD was an awesome experience. The emphasis on sustainable events taught me many valuable lessons that I will take with me through my studies and into the wider world.

Working with mentors like Kate and Millie was inspiring, and their expertise helped me accomplish many tasks within this internship.

Contributing to the growth of the Instagram page was a rewarding aspect, and I am grateful for everything I was able to do both by myself and with Kate."
