Story

Where it began

After losing her father in 2023, Kate founded the agency as a tribute to his memory and family name. With over 7 years of experience in event planning and 10 years of managing teams she is passionate about people and everything related to business and events.

Kate plans events which are inclusive, sustainably-focused and profitable. Her goal is to make sure that the project you are working on, is not only successful but also leaves a positive impact on the community.

Our passionate environmental scientist who lives and breathes sustainability. With her scientific expertise, Millie applies a rigorous set of criteria to ensure every step of the wedding/event planning journey is carbon responsible.

"Working for RAD has been an awesome experience that has helped me develop my understanding of events. The RAD workplace environment is very inviting and friendly making work very enjoyable."

Luke Rathgen, Event Co-ordinator at RAD

Working with RAD was an awesome experience. The emphasis on sustainable events taught me many valuable lessons that I will take with me through my studies and into the wider world.

Working with mentors like Kate and Millie was inspiring, and their expertise helped me accomplish many tasks within this internship.

Contributing to the growth of the Instagram page was a rewarding aspect, and I am grateful for everything I was able to do both by myself and with Kate.

Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals that RAD consider during our business operations are listed below.

"We’re big believers in, we can give you all the information you want about your carbon, we can give you a number, and can give you a dollar figure ... but we also really want to get those fundamentals right.”
